BS 2588-1 – Portable sanitary pans for use in healthcare establishments.-Specification for reusable bed pans
Specifies materials construction and performance requirements for use by adults (type 1) and small children (type 2). Type 3 pans are intended for use with supine patients. Grade A pans are designed to withstand sterilization at 134°C; Grade B disinfection at 100°C.
